Derani has an extensive career in finance, working in the industry for over 34 years. She previously worked at ANZ Bank for 16 years, holding various administrative and frontline roles, including branch manager. In her final five years at ANZ, Derani worked as a Relationship Manager to assist clients with their lending and investment needs, with a particular focus on Agribusiness.

In October 2021, Derani became the Northern Office Manager for MCMF, spearheading the opening of our Launceston branch.
